Glossary
Finalists: The final 20 in the running for Most Wanted ruumate (MWR)
Nominee: Members that are nominated.
Participant: Registered members that are voting.
Category: Refers to both the ‘Men’s’, and the ‘Women’s’ category. |
- Logon to your ruumz account, navigate to the MWR site, and nominate yourself, or your friend to be in the running for MWR.
- Every ruumz member is entitled to 6 votes daily, for the purpose of voting on the finalists wherein 3 votes are to be used to vote in the Men’s Category and 3 votes are to be used to vote in the Women’s category. The Participants are not permitted to utilize 6 votes in one category.
- Every ruumz member is eligible to vote a maximum of 3 times on one single finalist in one category and/or the member can spread its votes to two/three persons in each category.
- The MWR Voting page will display the 20 finalists, and their accumulated votes.

| Eligibility & Contest Duration |
- Most Wanted ruumate (“Contest”) shall be held from 13th April 2009 (Commencement Date) to 20th July 2009, and it is divided into 2 phases which are as follows:
- a. Nominations: 13 April – 17 May, 2009
- b. Voting: 1 June – 12 July, 2009
- Each round which comprises of both Nominations and Voting phases will close at 11.59 pm respectively.
- The 20 shortlisted nominees will be invited to a briefing session on 25th May 2009. Attendance for outstation Finalists is not compulsory, but preferred. Time, and venue will be posted at a later date.
- Contest is opened to all RUUMZ MEMBERS, above 13 years of age and residing in Malaysia only (“Nominees and Finalists”). Ruumzsters who have registered after the commencement date are eligible to participate.
- Employees of ruumzNation Sdn. Bhd., agencies, and sponsors are not eligible to participate in this Contest. Associate companies including parent and subsidiary companies of ruumzNation are eligible to participate.
- ruumzNation may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest duration at any time without giving any prior notice. Nominees, Participants, and Finalists’ participating in the Contest during the extended period shall be governed by this Contest's Terms and Conditions.
- RuumzNation reserves the right to use your basic information, such as; photo, name, age, gender. In no way will we breach your privacy, and use your sensitive information for marketing.
- The Participants’s profile in ruumz must be made public throughout the duration of this Contest wherein other ruumz members and ruumzsters are able to view the profile.

| Selection of Top 2 Winners (1 – Male and 1 – Female) |
- The top 2 winners will be chosen in each round based on the 2 finalists with the highest votes at the end of the voting round.
- Selection process will be conducted by ruumzNation and its associates.
- In the event of a tie, decision will be based on the earlier date and time of the last successful tie-turning vote.

- The second and third finalist that has garnered the most votes for their respective category will be the runner-up winners.
- Selection process will be conducted by ruumzNation and its associates.
- In the event of a tie, decision will be based on the earlier date and time of the last successful tie-turning vote.

- The Rewards for this Contest are as follows:

- All rewards are given on an ‘As Is’ basis. RuumzNation reserve the right to substitute any of the rewards in whole or in part with that of a similar value at its sole and absolute discretion at any time without prior notice, liability, and compensation to any finalists.

- Judging will be conducted after the voting phase for all rounds ends on 12th July, 2009 and will last up to 14 days.
- The decision of the judges for this Contest is final and no further claims will be entertained.
- Winners are 100% based on votes garnered throughout the voting phase.

| Notification & Collection of Rewards |
- The winners will be announced in July 2009 via the website; www.ruumz.com.
- The winners will also be notified separately via a phone call or e-mail together with the mode of collection of prizes.
- RuumzNation reserves the right to use any other method or medium it deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the the winners.
- RuumzNation reserves the right to use the the winners or representative’s names/photograph for purposes of advertising, trade, promotion at its sole discretion.
- RuumzNation reserves the right to forfeit unclaimed rewards and that rewards may be donated to charity at ruumzNation sole and absolute discretion.
- Proof of mailing, faxing or delivery in any manner whatsoever, details to ruumzNation pertaining to this Contest does not denote proof that ruumzNation has received such details.
- Rewards must be claimed a month after the winners has been announced. Further extension will not be entertained.
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. The value amount for the prizes mentioned on ruumz.com or otherwise is for reference only. The value of the prizes may vary from time to time, without prior notice.
- As far as permitted by law, ruumzNation and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the rewards details beyond the control of ruumzNation and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
- RuumzNation reserves the right at all times at its absolute discretion to vary, delete, substitute or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.

- The winners of this Contest agree to assign all intellectual property rights of the pictures submitted to ruumzNation. As such, ruumzNation will have full rights to the pictures usage for any above and below-the-line marketing activities and any other activities. In addition, winners may be requested to participate in public relations events tied to the campaign to generate press coverage of the contest and the accessories range. This may include, but not be limited to, quotes given for inclusion in press releases and press conferences, interviews, etc.
- ruumzNation reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the rules and regulations of these contests.
- RuumzNation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant and/or Finalist who is found, or suspected of, tampering with the Contest submission process, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation and/or breach of this Terms and Conditions and/or the Terms and Conditions in the Ruumz Web-site. RuumzNation reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this Contest or the Contest submission process.
- The Participants and/or Finalists agree to release and hold ruumzNation free and harmless of any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions, costs and expenses of any kind in connection with this Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation to, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
- The Participant and/or Finalists agree to indemnify ruumzNation on a full indemnity basis with respect to any claim, suit or proceedings of whatever nature brought by any of the winners beneficiaries and/or third party in respect of the acceptance and/or use of the rewards.
- ruumzNation is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of ruumzNation’s telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
- ruumzNation reserves the right:
- (i) to amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary or add to these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time and the Finalists shall be bound by such changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions.
- (ii) at any time to change any aspect of the Contest (including widening the scope of the Contest or replacing the devices offered) without prior notice but such terms and conditions shall not affect the continuation of the Contest duration.
- (iii) at its sole discretion modify the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances due to force majeure event
- By participating in this Contest either by nominating or voting or being nominated or voted, the Participants and the Finalists fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by this Contest terms and conditions.
